Engr. Amao Olamilekan Abdullateef is a Lecturer II in the Department of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, University of Ilorin, Nigeria. He was first appointed to the University as an Assistant Lecturer in December 2025. He holds a B.Eng. from the Federal University of Technology, Minna, and an M.Eng. from Kwara State University, Malete, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Civil Engineering. He is a registered engineer with COREN and a corporate member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers. He currently serves as one of the Desk Officers of the COREN Outcome-Based Education Committee in the Faculty. He previously served as a Post-UTME supervisor in 2026. His area of specialisation is structural engineering and sustainable construction materials. His research interests include the workability, mechanical and durability properties of concrete, waste-derived supplementary cementitious materials, machine learning prediction of construction material properties, and ground improvement with recycled materials.
